This year, our talented participants transformed pumpkins into beautiful flower arrangements, turning ordinary gourds into breathtaking centrepieces perfect for autumn. Why Pumpkins Make the Perfect Fall Vase
Pumpkins are synonymous with autumn, so why not turn them into a natural vase? Their rich orange hue pairs beautifully with autumnal flowers, bringing a cozy warmth to any home or event space. Using a pumpkin as a vase is both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. And when you’re done, you can simply compost it!
Highlights from Our Workshop
In our latest workshop, attendees learned the art of arranging flowers within hollowed-out pumpkins. We explored how to select flowers that complement the pumpkin’s color and texture, creating vibrant combinations. Flowers like chrysanthemums, roses, and wild berries added pops of color and texture, while seasonal foliage brought a rustic touch to each arrangement.
